The path to success can be challenging. Organizations are comprised of countless moving parts, and all of these people, processes, and technologies must work in harmony with a shared vision for success and how to achieve it. Operational activities and decisions should be guided by robust strategies that can evolve along with the business. Particularly in times of change, leadership must be prepared to direct the organization in a way that aligns and supports all activities, and inspires trust, motivation, and personal ownership.
To Navigate, effectively Implementing Strategy means doing what it takes to get and keep an organization rowing in the same direction – toward success.
The Client was anticipating expansion and wanted to be more strategic and forward looking in advance of the planned growth. The Client’s IT organization needed to be aligned with the business strategy in order to more effectively reorganize.
As part of an enterprise-wide transformation to replace multiple core operating systems, the Client required development of a comprehensive organizational change management approach to prepare internal and external stakeholders for organizational, process, and system changes associated with the transformation.
The Client completed the acquisition of three companies as part of its overall growth strategy and required IT integration leadership, coordination and support across the newly added entities. While the IT Team was rarely, if ever engaged to assess the risk or level of effort to consolidate operations as part of pre-transaction due diligence, they were required to on-board and integrate resources (people, process and technology) after the transactions had been finalized.
