Stieven Weidner

Steve is a Senior Manager with naviGATE who specializes in building cohesive business continuity and disaster recovery programs and datacenter solutions. Using his 15 years of business continuity and 30 years of diversified IT experience, Steve counsels clients on matters such as how to equip their companies with maximum business security and efficiency in the best manner to accommodate their specific needs and environments.

Previously, Steve served as Enterprise Manager at Catholic Health East. In this role, he led the development of a business continuity and disaster recovery methodology; identified the critical business functions to be involved and the IT infrastructure to support them; and rolled out the needed program policies and standards.

In addition, Steve’s career includes management of SAP America’s enterprise-wide, 45,000-square-foot datacenter as the company’s Manager, Global IT Hosting & Operations. While there, he led the design and development of global cloud computing agreements to support both small and medium-sized clients, and established several new domestic and global datacenter partnerships.

Steve has earned distinction as a Certified Business Continuity Professional and a Master Business Continuity Professional (one of about 100 worldwide), and is currently pursuing certification as a Member of the Business Continuity Institute.
