03 May How to Succeed as a Digital Enterprise
The Philadelphia Alliance for Capital and Technologies (PACT) is a great resource for companies in the region, providing valuable opportunities for growth and learning. We always find the PACT events to be worthwhile for both the networking and the educational components. So, we were particularly excited to attend Phorum, PACT’s one-day conference that features top-tier industry speakers and panels focused on best practices in enterprise technology.
The theme of this year’s event, held on April 27, was “Digitizing the Enterprise” – how to align a company’s technology strategy with its business strategy in order to maximize growth, profitability, and competitive position.
The keynote speaker for the event was Geoffrey Moore, the well-known author of bestselling books for business professionals. His latest book, Zone to Win, focuses on the challenges faced by established enterprises as a result of the disruptive, connected, fast-paced world we live in. With technological advancements occurring on a regular basis, it can be hard for businesses of all sizes to keep up.
In his speech, Moore offered specific insight into how an organization can best deal with the challenges presented by technology using his “zone management” model. The model highlights the importance of strategic preparation and delivery to foster success in the digital world, something we’ve always found to be true in working with our clients. In fact, many of his suggestions echo the fundamental services we offer at Navigate: Strengthening a company’s approach to technology to achieve their objectives, implementing a cohesive strategy to ensure that everyone is working towards a shared vision, and identifying and mitigating any potential risks in order to fuel performance.
When it comes down to it, the companies that are approaching digital disruption with a plan are setting themselves up for success.
