The IT department of a publicly-owned asset management firm lacked the executive sponsorship and management support needed to efficiently keep pace with the company’s increasing technology needs, naviGATE met with the client’s top executives to conduct a department gap analysis and draft a blueprint for stabilization.

naviGATE recommended that the firm reorganize its IT leadership and associated organizational structure in order to best leverage talent strengths. The team altered the IT department’s mindset, establishing needed processes such as requiring a change management committee to evaluate and approve any IT modifications affecting a certain amount of people to better control risk. naviGATE also oversaw the implementation of a project management program, to better align and prioritize the department’s goals with those of the company and more tightly manage project completion.
