A health care company needed to develop an executive succession plan that would ensure leadership continuity. naviGATE designed and implemented an enterprise-wide program that involved senior management in a competency review of the talent in leadership and mission-critical roles. Business unit leaders collectively built and instituted the succession planning process, with guidance from HR.

Beyond the plan itself, naviGATE helped the company with its first organizational talent inventory that identified critical roles, high-potential/high-performing individuals, and existing talent gaps. The team also assessed the organization’s depth, recruiting requirements, and training and development needs, and created individual employee development plans correlating with the company’s strategic initiatives.
